Dan Archer, CEO

Archer (MFA, MA) is a creative technologist, computer scientist and immersive storyteller who co-founded Empathetic Media Health in 2018. He was a 2016 fellow at the Tow Center at Columbia University, a Reynolds Journalism Institute Fellow (University of Missouri, 2014) and a Knight Journalism Fellow at Stanford University (2011). He is currently completing a PhD focusing on evaluating embodiment and performance using biological signals in virtual reality environments.

With over 30 years experience in the biopharma sector, Mark has been involved in 20 new product launches across global and domestic marketing, management and strategy, progressing to global vice president level. Together with Dan, he co-founded Empathetic Media Health in 2018. He has worked at Sanofi, Roche, MSD and GSK and held senior management positions at IQVIA, Syneos and McCann. His work at EMH provides clients with strategic insights coupled with creative applications of VR/AR technology – to better engage stakeholders and deliver superior health outcomes.
